15 enterprises coordinate with Customs to supervise in Hai Phong port

On 19/10, through the discussion with Customs News reporter, representative of Permanent Deployment Group of Hai Phong Customs Department said that, since starting the pilot program (15/8) until now, Customs authorities have connected with 15 port and warehouse enterprises in the area.

In phase one (15/8 – 15/9) completely implementing for 3 warehouse and port enterprises including Tan Vu port, Nam Phat warehouse, and Dinh Vu port.

“In phase two (15/9 – 15/10), the plan set to implement for 11 enterprises that have not tested the software yet. As a result, there are 12 enterprises have been implemented, excess more than 1 enterprise (Chua Ve port). In that, 10 enterprises already complete implementation for type of import and export goods; 1 enterprise is completed for import goods (TASA warehouse) and 1 enterprise continues to complete software in order to deploy export goods; 1 enterprise complete internal management software, it will complete its composition in order to connect Customs (Hai Linh Petro) in November” – representative of Permanent Deployment Group said,

Also, according to Hai Phong Customs survey, there are 50 enterprises in the area that are the subject to deploy, with 51 locations (because of a medium-sized enterprise with a separate warehouse), however, there are only 35 locations operating import-export activities and the unit will strive to complete connection in November of 2017. Additionally, with 16 locations without import and export goods, Customs authorities will set plan to connect when they operate import-export activities.

Moreover, according to leaders of the Software Application Management Division (Hai Phong Customs Department), in the working session with the Permanent Deployment Group, the enterprises that were deployed successfully, have evaluated the results and brought many benefits to many parties. At the same time, the enterprises expressed their great consensus in the upcoming deployment in a wide range.
