200 enterprises in the Central provinces participated in training workshop about new policies of Customs procedures

At the workshop, representatives of the Customs Control and Supervision Department, the Department of Import-Export Duty Department (General Department of Vietnam Customs) introduced the contents of Decree 59/2018 / ND-CP amending and supplementing some articles of Decree 08 / 2015 / ND-CP; The contents of the draft Circular on determining the origin of export and import goods and the contents of the draft Circular amending and supplementing Circular No. 38/2015 / TT-BTC on customs procedures and supervision for import and export goods; Customs management of goods processed, produced, exported, export processing enterprises; Tax administration for export goods; post clearance audit.

Representatives of the Customs Control and Supervision Department said that the above documents were drafted in the spirit of maximizing the import and export activities of enterprises, and also provided regulations to ensure the Customs management. The contents in the above documents have been collecting feedback from the business community and the relevant state management agencies many times before submitting to competent authorities for promulgation.

In particular, throughout the content of the revised Circular, Circular 38/2015 / TT-BTC, it aims to strengthen the electronicization of all stages of the customs procedures to reduce the required time for customs clearance.

Along with the dissemination of the above contents, representatives of the drawing-up committee will answer many questions from enterprises related to the new points in the documents, thereby unifying the understanding and implementation in practice.

Besides that, directly answering the questions of the enterprises mentioned at the conference, representatives of the Customs Control and Supervision Department, General Department of Vietnam Customs suggested that businesses should carefully study the contents of the Decree and the circular which is expected to be valid on 5/6 in order to understand the new points for implementation.

At the same time, in the course of implementation, there should be a need to contact the customs office where the business procedures can be answered and guided in detail.

As such, there are more than 1200 import-export enterprises nationwide trained by the General Department of Customs on the contents of Decree 59/2018 / ND-CP and circulars guiding the implementation. At the same time, some local customs departments have also disseminated new policies for enterprises in the area.
