200 enterprises in the Central region joined for training on new Customs procedures

At the conference, representatives from the Customs Control and Supervision Department and the Import-Export Duty Department (General Department of Customs) introduced the contents of Decree 59/2018 / ND-CP amending and supplementing some articles of Decree 08 / 2015 / ND-CP; the contents of the draft Circular on determining the origin of import and export goods and the contents or the draft Circular amending and supplementing Circular No. 38/2015 / TT-BTC on Customs procedures and supervision for import and export goods; Customs management for goods for export processing and production, export processing enterprises; Tax administration for export goods and Post-clearance audit.
The representative from the Customs Control and Supervision Department said that the above documents were drafted in the spirit of maximum facilitation to the import and export activities of enterprises and ensuring the Customs control. The contents in the above documents have been consulted many times from the business community and the relevant state management agencies before submitting to competent authorities for promulgation.
In particular, the contents of the revised Circular 38/2015 / TT-BTC is to strengthen the electronicization of all stages of the Customs procedures in the purpose of reducing the clearance time.
Along with the dissemination of the above contents, the representatives of the drafting committee answered many questions from enterprises related to the new points in the documents, thereby unifying the understanding and the implementation in the reality.
In addition to directly answering the questions from the enterprises at the conference, the representative from the Customs Control and Supervision Department suggested that enterprises should carefully study the contents of the Decrees and the circulars which were expected to take effect on 5 June to understand new points.
At the same time, during the implementation, enterprises need to complain about obstacles arising to Customs Branches where enterprises carry out the Customs procedures to be guided and answered detail.

Thus, more than 1200 import-export enterprises nationwide were trained by the General Department of Customs on the contents of Decree 59/2018 / ND-CP and circulars guiding the implementation. At the same time, some local Customs departments have also disseminated new policies for enterprises in their localities.
