According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, this result is updated until 15 February 2019. There are 219 warehouse and yard and seaport operators; 93 bonded warehouse operators and 3 air cargo terminal operators.

According to leaders of the Customs IT and Statistics Department in order to achieve the above goals, it is necessary to focus on synchronously and drastically deploying solutions in departments of the General Department of Vietnam Customs and local customs departments. Talking to the Customs Newspaper’s reporter, Deputy Director of Customs IT and Statistics Department (under the General Department of Vietnam Customs) Le Duc Thanh said that in order to meet requirements of facilitation for the business community, to reach the goal of electronization and to enhance the efficiency of the Customs management, in 2019, the Department will coordinate with relevant units and local departments to make great effort to complete the deployment of VASSCM in the whole country, especially, the application to the bonded warehouse.

Mr. Le Duc Thanh added that for the local customs departments, in 2019, the units that have not yet connected VASSCM need to be more actively in the preparation and deployment of the system. The units need to unify the implementation of the VASSCM, the General Department of Vietnam Customs is only in charge of supporting, guiding and handling shortcomings and cannot assign officers to directly deploy at localities, so the deployment of VASSCM is the main responsibility of the local customs departments.

In order to support and promote the deployment of units, the General Department of Vietnam Customs will promote the monitoring, urging and inspection. According to the analysis of the Customs IT and Statistics Department, in order to complete the implementation of the VASSCM nationwide, the coordination, monitoring, urging and inspection by the General Department of Vietnam Customs must be performed in a drastic, scientific, specific manner.
