Arrange a flexibility working schedule of Entry Luggage Customs Procedure Team at Noi Bai airport

Earlier, on 27/3, Director General of General Department of Customs – Nguyen Van Can had a working session with Hanoi Customs Department to discuss inspection and supervision activities at Noi Bai International Airport. In the working session, Director General Nguyen Van Can said that, organizing the operational system in each team under Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch, in that the Entry Luggage Customs Procedure Team needs to adjust in order to meet the requirement.

Implementing the instructions of leaders of General Department, Director of Hanoi Customs Department has directed to allocate and re-arrange working shift of Entry Luggage Customs Procedure Team under Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch (the working schedule has divided into two shifts currently).

Accordingly, the working shift for Entry Luggage Customs Procedure Team will be re-arranged into two official shifts and a tour of duty. The first shift will be from 4 AM to 2:30 PM; The second shift will be from 1:30 PM to 0:00 AM and the tour of duty will start from 0:00 AM.

Based on the actual situation and mission requirements at the airport, the Head of Unit of the Entry Luggage Customs Procedure Team will decide to allocate two Customs officers to take their shift.

In the case of necessity, the Deputy Directors of the in charge units will organize to collaborate between the task forces of the Entry Luggage Customs Procedure Team and the customs enforcement teams, drug enforcement team in order to assign a task for people in charge the shift complete their missions.

Head of Entry Luggage Customs Procedure Team will assign working shift, allocate Customs officers to work on each shift and perform inspection, supervision tasks ... for each day, each specific work shift in accordance with individual capacity and management requirements. Manager of Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch, Deputy Manager in charge the Entry Luggage Customs Procedure Team are responsible for supervising task assignment done by Head of Entry Luggage Customs Procedure Team.

In order to strictly implement the allocation and rearrangement of working shift as well as the Customs administration at Noi Bai International Airport, the Hanoi Customs Department will immediately transfer unqualified officers to a new position in accordance with new working shift as well as handling violated officers.
