In particular, the crude oil exports in July reached about 259,000 tons, worth $US 216 million, a decrease of 13% in volume and a decrease of 9% in taxable value. Imported petroleum reached about 68,000 tons, equivalent to $US 27.6 million, a decrease of 9% in volume and a decrease of 18% of taxable value; and the imported iron and steel reached $US 21.7 million, a decrease of 13% compared to that in the previous month.
The Ba Ria-Vung Tau Customs Department said that in July, the total value of the main goods decreased by 9% in value compared to that in June. The total tax revenue from the main goods in July 2016 reached 1,309 billion vnd, a decrease of 8.3% compared to that in June 2016.

By July 31, 2016, the total budget revenue of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Customs Department reached 8,395 billion vnd, reaching 45% of revenue targets of 2016 (18,800 billion vnd). Specifically, the tax revenue to be collected in July was 1,579 billion vnd, a decrease of 4% compared to that in the previous month.
