Bac Phong Sinh resumes customs clearance after seven-month delay

VCN – The leader of Bac Phong Sinh Customs Branch (under Quang Ninh Customs Department) said the Customs clearance at the areas resumed on September 26 after a seven-month delay.

Earlier, the border gate delayed customs clearance since February 23 because the Chinese Government applied strict measures on Covid-19 prevention and control.

On the first day of resumed customs clearance, the branch carried out procedures for two consignments of imported general goods.

The law enforcement agencies of the two countries have strictly taken measures for Covid-19 prevention and control.

The law enforcement force at Bac Phong Sinh Border Gate has implemented the Safe Green Zone plan.

Currently, the arrangement of workers to load goods is still limited, affecting the import and export across the area.

“The branch has arranged full officers to perform customs clearance for goods of enterprises,” the leader said.
