VCN – The Traffic Police Division (Kon Tum Public Security) has inspected and handled a case of a Bentley car with a diplomatic plate showing signs of illegal transfer.

According to the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), at 8.30 pm on June 15 at Km1546, Ho Chi Minh road, Kon Tum city, Kon Tum province, during patrol, the working group under the Traffic Police Division stopped and inspected a Bentley car with a diplomatic plate 43-346-ND-09, travelling from Ngoc Hoi district to Kon Tum city.

The driver is H.N.N. (born in 1992, residing at Quy Nhon city, BinhDinh province).

Checking information on the management system for road motor vehicles, the police agency determined that the car with the diplomatic control plate 43-346-NG-09 owned by Mr. L.P. under theConsulate General of Laos has a certificate of registration invalid from November 17, 2018.

According to regulations of the Ministry of Public Security on vehicle registration and guidelines of the Traffic Police Department on strengthening handling for cars with diplomatic plates or foreign plates used in Vietnam, if the car is used by a Vietnamese or foreigner who does not have diplomatic status, paper examination shall be conducted. If the car has invalid certificate of registration or has signs of illegal transfer, it shall be investigated and handled.

Through initial verification, the driver confessed that the car with the diplomatic plate 43-346-NG-09 was transferred to a Vietnamese.

It is reviewed that there was a sign of illegal transfer, so the Traffic Police Division (Kon Tum Public Security) reported to the provincial Public Security and transferred the documents and the car to the Economic Police Division for further investigation and verification.
