Customs: Increase revenue collection by 1,145 billion/month from importing automobiles

According to General Department of Vietnam Customs, in August, the import of completed automobiles of all kinds reached 9,881 cars, increased by twice the number in July of 2018. It helps to increase the revenue by 1,145 billion VND. Besides that, crude oil also contributed to the revenue increase with 586 billion VND in August…
However, some important groups of commodities decreased in revenue collection compared to July like: computer and electronic products caused a reduction of 249 billion VND, automobile parts and accessories group caused a reduction of 209 billion VND; Imported petrol reduced by 122 billion VND.
In the last August, the total revenue of the Customs sector reached 26,863 billion VND, similar to the previous month. By the end of August, the total revenue collection of the whole sector reached 200,790 billion VND, equivalent to 70.95% of current appropriation. Also, the result is equal to 68.5% of the assigned target, increased by 4.59% over the same period of 2017 (191,971 billion VND).
In order to ensure completing the task of revenue collection, the General Department of Vietnam Customs has adjusted phase 2 to supplement the target of 2018 for 20 local Customs departments.
Accordingly, 20 Customs Departments are adjusted to increase the assigned target including: Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh, Quang Ninh, Ha Nam Ninh, Binh Phuoc, Dien Bien, Quang Binh, Dak Lak, Thua Thien-Hue, Cao Bang, Nghe An, Ha Tinh , Lao Cai, Quang Nam, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Ca Mau.
Ha Tinh Customs Department’s assigned target is adjusted with the largest additional amount of 2,800 billion VND (increase from 3,100 to 5,900 billion VND).
The next are: Ba Ria- Vung Tau Customs Department increased by 2,600 billion VND (from 14,900 to 17,500 billion VND); Quang Ngai Customs Department increased by 2,330 billion VND (from 670 to 3,000 billion VND); Dong Nai Customs Department increased 2,300 billion VND (from 16,500 to 18,200 billion VND), Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department increased by 1,000 billion VND (from 4,200 to 5,200 billion VND), Binh Duong Customs Department increased by 900 billion VND (from 12,900 to 13,800 billion VND)…
