Daikin Vietnam – formerly Viet Kim Joint Stock Company which was founded in 1995 specializes in the distribution of Daikin air conditioners in Vietnam.

In October 2008, Viet Kim Joint Stock Company became a member of the Daikin Group. By establishing the national network, Viet Kim Joint Stock Company not only distributes products but also provides all after-sales services, from technical services to warranty, repair and maintenance for all the products of domestic distribution.

In 2013 and 2014, Viet Kim Joint Stock Company was placed in the group of 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam. Viet Kim Joint Stock Company is also a pioneer in the implementation of national standards for energy efficiency under the Government's program.

In the early 2015, Viet Kim Joint Stock Company officially changed its name to Daikin Air Conditioning Joint Stock Company (Vietnam).

On July 28, speaking to a reporter of the Customs Newspaper, a customs officer of Post Clearance Audit Department (General Department of Vietnam Customs) - the unit in charge of implementing AEO program said, with the AEO recognition of Daikin Air Conditioning Joint Stock Company, there are currently 52 enterprises with recognition of AEO in Vietnam.

Related to improving the efficiency of the AEO program, speaking to a reporter of Customs Newspaper, Mrs. Le Thu, Deputy Director of Post Clearance Audit Department said the department was promoting the mutual recognition of AEO with Korean enterprises (about 700 AEO enterprises) and conducting mutual recognition of AEO with 13 countries such as Japan, USA and Singapore, etc.
