Danang Customs deploy Project ‘Customs Smile’

VCN – After six months of development, Director of Danang Customs Department has signed Decision No. 707/QĐ-HQDNg approving the project ‘Customs smile’. This project will be applied at Danang International airport Customs Branch, aiming to facilitate import – export activities and migration but also enhancing the capacity and efficiency of customs management.

In particular, according to the Danang Customs Department, with the development of a culture of performing civilized, friendly and professional civil tasks, building the image of customs officials "Convenience - Friendliness - Professionalism" at the Da Nang international airport to meet the development orientation of the Customs authority during the period of reform, modernization and international integration, contributing to the implementation of Resolution 43-NQ/TƯ dated January 24, 2019 of the Ministry of Political Bureau about building and developing Danang city to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

At the conference announcing the implementation of the project ‘Customs Smile’ organized by the Danang Customs Department, Director Quach Dang Hoa highly appreciated the project development process.

Da Nang International Airport Customs Branch has invested in researching and conducting a survey about management at customs units with similar functions and duties such as Tan Son Nhat airport and Noi Bai airport to learn from experience. At the same time, it has conducted a survey to collect information from state management agencies and operating units in the management area, import and export enterprises, and travel and tourism businesses relating to passengers on exit and entry of the country in order to provide practical solutions that are appropriate to the needs and desires of agencies and partners.

Besides that, the content of the project is quite specific and evaluated comprehensively in all activities of the unit to recommend specific solutions.

Director Quach Dang Hoa said that the implementation of the project is a task for the entire Danang Customs Department, each relevant unit must develop a specific plan in accordance with its functions and tasks to implement and achieve great results that are effective and replicable in practice not only for airport Customs.

Furthermore, Mr. Hoa encouraged all customs officials and employees to make more efforts and determination to achieve the project's objectives: civilization, friendliness and politeness in parallel with openness and convenience but it must improve management capacity.
