A drug trafficker is arrested on July 22

The leader of the Anti-Drug Enforcement Team said that at 3pm on July 23, at ​​Co Luong village, Noong Luong commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province, the working group including PC04 Division, Dien Bien Phu city Police, Dien Bien Customs Department and Noong Luong Commune Police on their duty discovered a man riding a motorbike to a house in the area, who was suspected of illegal transportation of narcotics.

The working group requested inspection on site of Lo Van Pom (residing in Pa Thom village, Pa Thom commune, Dien Bien district, Dien Bien province).

As a result, the competent forces seized four bricks of white powder wrapped by moisture-proof nylon (suspected to be heroin); and 30 nylon bags of 6,000 pink tablets (suspected to be synthetic drugs).

Lo Van Pom confessed that the white powder was heroin and the pink tablets were synthetic drugs.

The case is currently being investigated.

Previously, on July 22, the Anti-Drug Enforcement Team, Dien Bien Customs Department worked with other forces to handle three cases and arrest four traffickers of six bricks of heroin and 7,200 tablets of synthetic drugs in Dien Bien and Son La provinces.
