In the implementation of budget collection task, the Director General requests leaders of the Customs Departments and Branches, and leaders of groups and teams to focus on directing their units to follow measures of budget collection under the Director General’s Directive in the spirit of trade facilitation, control of factors affiliated to state budget revenue to carry out budget collection task in the remaining months of 2018. Accordingly, in 2018 the Customs sector will strive to collect VND 300 trillion.
Besides the implementation of collection measures, Mr. Can also asked the leaders of the units to strictly punish Customs officers in charge and leaders who refuse to follow the guidance in the guiding documents by the General Department of Customs.
Regarding the implementation of the automated system for Customs management, the Director General said that the General Department of Customs is actively directing and concentrating on thoroughly dealing with all arising problems by all resources, such as investing in equipment and perfecting the software system to maximize the enterprises and ensure the management.
He requests the local customs authorities to seriously implement the guidance by the General Department of Customs for scrap imports.

Regarding the personnel organization, according to the General Director, the Customs has basically completed the arrangement of teams and groups at Branch level. In the coming time, the rotation of deputies and officers in charge in the whole sector will be conducted.
