VCN- Director of Quang Ninh Customs Department Bui Van Khang was elected as Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh People's Committee XIII, 2016-2021 term, with 70/71 votes, reaching 98.59% of the delegates present, and achieving 95.89% of the People's Committee’s total delegates.

On 25th January, in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh People's Council held the 10th session (Extraordinary Session) to discuss and agree on the dismissal and additional election of a number of key positions of Quang Ninh People's Committee and People's Council in accordance with the law.

At the session, Quang Ninh People's Council dismissed the Vice Chairman and the member of Quang Ninh People's Committee XIII, 2016-2021 term.

Accordingly, voting to dismiss the position of Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh People's Committee for Mr. Vu Van Dien to hold a new position with 100% of the delegates in agreement; Voting to dismiss the position of Quang Ninh People's Committee member for Ms. Trinh Thi Minh Thanh and Mr. Vu Xuan Dien to hold new positions with 100% of delegates’ agreement.

The delegates listened to the report of the Quang Ninh People's Committee on the additional election of Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh People's Committee XIII, 2016-2021 term, for Mr. Bui Van Khang, Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of Party Committee, Director of the Quang Ninh Customs Department. At the same time, additionally electing Mr. Nguyen Trong Dien, Director of Health Department, as the member of Quang Ninh People's Committee XIII, 2016-2021 term.

Based on the voting results, Mr. Bui Van Khang was elected as Vice Chairman of the 12th Quang Ninh People's Committee, 2016-2021 term, with 70/71 votes, reaching 98.59% of the delegates present, and achieving 95.89% of the total delegates of Quang Ninh People's Council.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Dien was elected as the Member of Quang Ninh People's Committee XIII, 2016-2021 term, with 70/71 votes, reaching 98.59% of the delegates present, and achieving 95.89% of the total delegates of Quang Ninh People's Council.
