VCN – At night of 17/4 and in the early morning of 18/4, the Northern anti-smuggling Enforcement Unit (Unit 1, Anti-smuggling and Investigation Department, General Department of Vietnam Customs) chaired and coordinated to discover and seize a truck transporting imported goods, but the driver could not present any documents of receipt to prove legal origin.

At that time, Unit 1 chaired and coordinated with Traffic police Department (C67), Anti-drugs Police Department (C47) and other competent forces under Steering Committee 389 of Hung Yen Province to discover a truck with license plated 14B-02603 transporting from Quang Ninh’s border area to inland with suspicious signs.

In the dawn of 18/4, Unit 1 coordinated to transfer the vehicle to Market Management Branch of Hung Yen for inspection.

Through the physical inspection, the competent force detected there were many kinds of commodities including: electronic products, footwear, cigarettes, components and mobile phones, supplementary food, sanitary ware...

Currently, the Northern anti-smuggling Enforcement Unit continues to complete the dossier, investigate and handle it according to regulations.
