The office and customs branches under the department checked essential conditions and logistics such as kitchens, dormitories, foods and other essential living conditions were used to prepare for the plan that all customs officials and employees to stay in the office and undergo medical isolation if requested by authorities.
Heads of customs branches, leaders of customs enforcement teams are responsible for assigning leaders of customs branches, leaders of Enforcement Teams, Team leaders of Customs branches, officials and employees to stay in the unit 24/7 with an appropriate number based on the assigned functions and tasks, to solve customs procedures for import and export goods and control anti-smuggling at key stages like receiving and processing customs dossiers; physical inspection of goods; supervise customs, ensure the cargo clearance is operated normally, and avoid to arise any case of violations of smuggling and trade fraud at the management unit.
The department's leadership also requires security forces and kitchens to be maintained stably, meeting requirements of security, safety, and fullness during the time that customs officials and employees stay in the unit. The remaining customs officials and employees will follow the current work from distance.
“All leaders, customs officials and employees of units under Dong Nai Customs Department prepare and are ready to stay at the agency 24/24 in case of Covid-19 pandemic continues to develop complicatedly if there is a notice from competent authorities, forcing to apply medical isolation to ensure Covid-19 infection prevention and control," Deputy Director of Dong Nai Customs Department Nguyen Phuc Tho emphasised.
