The GDVC has asked branches to support businesses in customs process; apply information technology and modern customs management methods in handling administrative procedures; ensure the supervision and inspection of import and export goods, contributing to minimizing spread of the virus; implement online meetings and work to ensure smooth operation.
Regarding anti-smuggling, commercial fraud and counterfeit goods, the GDVC has requested braches to collect information and develop specific plans for each area and coordinate with central and local governments to effectively prevent smuggling and trade fraud, contributing to maintaining national security, sovereignty and social safety.
Especially, the GDVC has required customs departments that are applying Directive 16 on Covid-19 prevention and control measures, to comply with requirements of the local government in implementing social distancing and medical quarantine.
Assign officers to perform their tasks in an appropriate and safe manner at border gates, seaports, airports, industrial parks, ensuring customs control in all situations and smooth operation of imports, exports and the supply chain.
It has also asked the GDVC’s departments to perform the pandemic prevention and control measures. Strictly follow the direction of the Hanoi People's Committee, the Ministry of Finance and the GDVC. Complete tasks and strive to achieve targets.
