According to Quang Ninh Customs Department, the Service Quality Assessment System of Customs officers in customs processes, Quang Ninh Customs Department recorded 20,738 evaluation votes of 646 businesses, accounting for 88% of importers and exporters, an increase of 25% in the number of enterprises compared to the initial period of running the system.

The operation and processing of information of the enterprise on the system has become a key channel on obtaining feedback from the business community regarding Customs activities.

The assessment of the business community helps to further improve the service quality of the Customs for businesses, contributing to enhancing the Customs Department Competitiveness Index (CDCI) and the Department and District Competitiveness Index (DDCI).

The management, operation and processing of information on the system has been implemented in a comprehensive manner at the department and branch levels.

The customs units have met targets such as easily using, assessing and analyzing data to provide information, satisfying requirements in performing task of each unit and directions by the department’s leaders.

Speaking to Customs News, representatives of businesses said they are satisfied with the service attitude of Quang Ninh Customs officers.

The running of the Service quality assessment system of Quang Ninh Customs officers has helped businesses easily access and send feedback to the Customs, said representatives of enterprises.

After the customs clearance process, businesses can send feedback immediately to the Customs via the system.

On May 15, the department officially launched the Service Quality Assessment system of Quang Ninh Customs officers.

The system helps to assess the satisfaction level with the service quality of Customs officers, teams/working groups, and customs branches under five levels; Very Satisfied; Satified, Somewhat Satisfied; Dissatisfied; Very dissatisfied.

After finishing the customs processes for each shipment, businesses will conduct their assessment on the Customs declaration software.

The assessment will be sent to the system of Quang Ninh Customs Department to get comments and suggestions from the business community.

Quang Ninh Customs Departement has inspected, verified and sanctioned acts of negativity and harassment in public duty of customs officers for those who assessed “very unsatisfied” by businesses and sent handling results to the businesses.
