Expanding implementation of NSW at port and offshore oil port from 1/7/2018

VCN - In order to ensure the synchronous implementation of the National Single Window (NSW) plan at the 13 maritime administrations of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the Ministry of Transport has sent an express document to the Vietnam Maritime Administration, IT Center for the expansion of NSW implementation in seaports.

Accordingly, from 9:00 AM on 1/7/2018, the Ministry of Transport is expanding the implementation of NSW at Maritime Ports: Hai Phong; Quang Ninh; Danang; Ho Chi Minh City; Vung Tau; Quy Nhon; Nha Trang; Quang Ngai; Dong Nai; Quang Nam; Quang Binh; Quang Tri; Hue.

Targets are the entire shipping lines, agents of shipping companies that carry out declaration procedures that relate to vessels, including 11 administrative procedures as follows: Procedures for entry, export and transit; Vessels entering Vietnam at offshore oil and gas ports and operating in Vietnam's sea areas; For ships departing from offshore oil and gas ports; Vessel entering/leaving the offshore oil and gas port and operating in Vietnam's sea areas; Sea vessels operating inland routes transporting import / transit goods or having foreign passengers or crew members entering seaports, and foreign sea-going ships entering Vietnam and entering other seaports of Vietnam; Sea vessels operating inland routes transporting import or transit goods or having passengers or crew members bearing foreign nationalities leaving seaports and seagoing ships having entered and leaving ports to arrive at other seaports of Vietnam carrying import goods, transit goods or passengers or crew members bearing foreign nationality; Vessels operating inland routes into Vietnamese seaports and sea-going ships then entering Vietnam's other seaports without carrying import, transit goods or passengers and crew members bearing foreign nationality; Vessels operating inland routes departing Vietnam's seaports and sea-going ships and then departing from other seaports of Vietnam.

The Ministry of Transport requested the Vietnam Maritime Administration to coordinate with the General Department of Vietnam Customs in announcing to the shipping companies and shipping agents the above implementation plan. At the same time direct the port authorities within the scope of deploying staff and necessary equipment to handle the above administrative procedures under NSW. Also, sum up the opinions and problems arising in the course of implementation, coordinate with the Information Technology Center (or report to the Ministry of Transport about the contents beyond its competence).

The IT Center will ensure that the IT system of the Ministry of Transport which connects to NSW operations runs smoothly.
