On 30th May 2018, the Director General of the GDVC Nguyen Van Can signed Decision 1608/QD-TCHQ assigning and appointing Mr. Van Ba Tin – Deputy Director of Ha Noi Customs Department to hold the position of Director of Inspectorate Department.
At the ceremony, Deputy Director General of the GDVC, Mr. Mai Xuan Thanh congratulated the Inspectorate Department and Mr. Van Ba Tin.
The Deputy Director General has requested the new Director of Inspectorate Department to continue to promote his ability and qualification to excellently fulfill the assigned tasks.
Especially, promoting democratic spirit and solidarity and cohesiveness in the leadership and the contingent of cadres and civil servants in the Department; performing well the task of advice to the leaders of the GDVC in inspection and anti-corruption. At the same time, developing a good relationship with other units in and outside the Customs sector.

Stating at the ceremony, the new Director of Inspectorate Department Van Ba Tin expressed his efforts, determination together with the Department to excellently accomplish the assigned tasks.
Previously, on 7th May 2018, Minister of Finance signed Decision 639/QD-BTC appointing Mr. Mai Xuan Thanh, Director of Inspectorate Department (under the GDVC) to hold the position of Deputy Director General of GDVC since 15th May 2018.
