At the signing ceremony, the Deputy Director General Vu Ngoc Anh stated that the relationship between Customs and business in general and the relationship between GDVC and Samsung SDS, in particular, was very good. Accordingly, the suggestions of Samsung SDS with Vietnam Custom on IT application in confidentiality of information were concerned.

Deputy Director General Vu Ngoc Anh hoped that the signing of the record would promote the cooperation between Customs and business in general and the GDVC and Samsung SDS in particular to a new height. At the same time, the signing would help businesses investing and trading in Vietnam and the Customs to know the desire of businesses in Customs operation.

According to Mr. Kim Hyung Tae Vice President of Samsung SDS, Samsung SDS was a new company operating in the logistics field. Samsung SDS could confidently apply new information technology to Customs procedures and its operations. This was an opportunity for Samsung SDS to develop and cooperate with parties in the coming time.

The record aimed to confirm certain knowledge between Samsung SDS and the GDVC on identifying benefits for two sides in blockchain relationships in Vietnam. All exchange information, data and discussions, and negotiations among relevant parties were confidential information and in accordance with the Vietnam’s law.

Accordingly, the parties did not absolutely disclose confidential information of each other and any third party excepting the directors, officers, staffs, agents and technical advisers of subordinate companies or units to evaluate, approve or promote the purpose of cooperation.
