Hai Phong Customs clears over 200,000 declarations per month

Of which, 108,137 import declarations and 92,675 export declarations were handled by customs. The Export Processing Zone and Industrial Park Customs Branch processed 47,885 declarations, and 1st Zone Seaport Hai Phong Customs Branch handled 5,166 declarations.
In November, the rate of declarations classified into the Green Channel accounted for 65.1% and the remainder were in the Yellow and Red channel.
However, the rate of declarations classified into the Yellow and Red channel at four customs branches of 1st Zone Seaport Hai Phong, 2nd Zone Seaport Hai Phong, 3rd Zone Seaport Hai Phong and Dinh Vu Seaport accounted for 82% or 28,123 declarations.
The trade in goods in November hit over US$10 billion. Of which, export turnover showed a year-on-year increase of 29.5% to over US$5 billion, and the taxable turnover surged 84.6% to US$43.92 million.
Export turnover rose 21.8% to about US$5 billion compared with the previous year, and the taxable turnover increased 32.3% to over US$1.9 billion.
End-November, Hai Phong Customs earned VND60,830 billion, meeting 108.6% of the target assigned by the Ministry of Finance and 100.5% of the target set by the General Department of Vietnam Customs, increasing by 21.55% compared with a year ago.
In Hai Phong alone, they collected VND53 trillion worth of tariffs, a rise of 21.12% compared with the previous year. The figure met up to 101% of the annual target by the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
End-November, eight of nine customs branches achieved and exceeded the annual revenue target.
The branch that collected the highest revenue is the 1st Zone Seaport Hai Phong at VND19,600 billion, meeting 111.37% of the annual target, and the Export Processing Zone and Industrial Park Customs Branch collected VND15,25 billion, reaching 95.34% of the target.
