Hai Phong Customs collects VND 44,698 billion to State revenue

Hai Phong collected VND 4,025 billion, the rest was collected from three branches outside the area (Hai Duong Customs Branch, Hung Yen Customs Branch and Thai Binh Customs Branch).
From the beginning of the year to the end of October, Hai Phong Customs Department collected VND 44,698 billion, reaching 66.7% of the target set by the Ministry of Finance (VND 67,000 billion), reaching 63% of the target set by the General Department of Vietnam Customs, down 23% from the same period in 2019.
Hai Phong alone obtained VND 39,012 billion, reaching 68.3% of the target assigned by the Ministry of Finance (VND 57,100 billion), reaching 64.1% of the target assigned by the General Department of Vietnam Customs (VND 60,900 billion), 61.9% of the target assigned by Hai Phong People's Committee (VND 63,000 billion), down 22.7% from the same period last year.
Considering the results of revenue collection compared to the year target, there are six out of nine branches reaching 60% or more, including: Export Processing Zones (EPZs) and Industrial Parks Customs Branch (reaching 131.54%); Thai Binh Customs Branch (83.04%); Hai Phong port area 3 Customs Branch (81.22%); Investment/Processing Customs Branch (69.77%); Hung Yen Customs Branch (65.3%); and Hai Phong port area 1 Customs Branch (63.2%).
The remaining three branches with a proportion of revenues below 60% compared with the year target including: Hai Phong port area 2 Customs Branch (reaching 59.62%); Dinh Vu Port Customs Branch (58.31%); and Hai Duong Customs Branch (43.2%).
