Hanoi Customs Department must collect 20,650 billion vnd in 2017

 VCN- With the completion in excess of the estimates of the State budget revenue in 2016, from the beginning of 2017, the Hanoi Customs Department has issued a decision on assignment of State budget revenue targets in 2017 for the subordinate units of the Department.

In 2016, the Hanoi Customs Department made effort to successfully complete the assigned mission, the basic and key targets which were reached and exceeded the estimates. Notably, the Department contributed to the State budget 20,002 billion vnd, reaching 110% of the assigned targets (18,200 billion vnd) and reaching 102% of target (19,600 billion vnd)

In 2017, implementing the State budget revenue targets of 20,650 billion vnd, the Hanoi Customs Department early assigned target for each subordinate unit. Of which, the units in Hanoi (including branches: Noi Bai International Airport Border Gate Customs Branch, North Hanoi Customs Branch, Hanoi Postal Customs Branch, Gia Thuy Customs Branch, Yen Vien International Railway Station Customs Branch, Investment and Processing Customs Branch, North Thang Long Industrial Park Customs Branch, Ha Tay Customs Branch, Import and Export Duty Division and Post Clearance Audit Branch) with total assigned targets of 17,200 billion vnd. For the units outside of Hanoi (Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, Hoa Binh) with total assigned targets of 3,450 billion vnd.

Some of the units are assigned high revenue targets including: North Hanoi Customs Branch was 4,160 billion vnd, Investment and Processing Customs Branch was 3,668 billion vnd, Noi Bai International Airport Border Gate Customs was 3,150 billion vnd, and Vinh Phuc Customs Branch was 3,000 billion vnd.

To implement the State budget revenues target, in 2017 the Hanoi Customs Department has continued to implement unified solution groups to facilitate for import-export activities to attract businesses in the capital to do procedures at the department; strengthen tax management, tax debt collection; anti-loss of revenue through taxable value and HS code application.

Besides, the Department focused on monitoring the performance of factors affecting the State budget revenues; identified the branches and areas which have huge revenues, key import items and forecast the sources of revenue may increase the revenues for the State budget; regularly inspecting the categories with a high tax rate and a high risk of price to report to the General Department of Customs to propose to amend and supplement the list of the risk management of imports and exports.
