According to Deputy Head of Customs Control and Supervision Division (Hanoi Customs Department) Doan Manh Hai, the setting up of places of inspection at construction sites and manufacturers has brought many benefits and helped enterprises reduce clearance time and transportation cost, as well as make use of available workers to load and count goods to guarantee the working progress and greater safety in goods management.

However, according to the Hanoi Customs Department, the regulation on conditions for recognition in Circular No. 38/2015/TT-BTC is very simple, enterprises just need to send a request document, enclosed with a map of the inspection area which needs strict management as per requirements of Customs.

To facilitate enterprises operating warehouses and yards and to promote import and export activities of business as well as compliance management, Deputy Head of Division Doan Manh Hai said, besides implementing customs procedures as complying with regulations at the place of inspection at construction sites, manufacturers (only applies to equipment and machinery serving the project and raw materials for export production) the Customs Department will organise to study the draft of the amended and supplemented circular to propagate for enterprises, especially locations proposed for validity extension.
