Import – export goods carrying out customs procedures at Noi Bai Customs increase by more than 50%

Specifically, if the number of declarations in 2015 was an average of 1,800 declarations/day, the number of declarations in 2019 increased to 2,800 declarations/day. In 2020, although being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the average number of declarations from January to June still reached 1,585 declarations per day.
Import and export consignments at Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch also saw remarkable growth. In 2015, it reached 2,170 shipments/day and in 2019 it reached 3,310 shipments/day. In the first half of 2020, it has reached 2,612 shipments/day.
According to the Hanoi Customs Department, the above figures showed the growth rate of declarations and consignments through customs procedures at Noi Bai International Airport in 2019 compared to 2015 increased by 58.1% and 52.53%, respectively.
Besides that, the number of vehicles and passengers on entry and exit has increased significantly (except in 2020, when vehicles and passengers on entry and exit are severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic).
The growth of traffic rate of vehicles and passengers in 2019 compared to 2015 was as follows: For means of transport on exit increased by 46.1%, means of transport on entry increased by 62.6%, people on exit increased by 133, 9% and people on entry increased by 111.4%.
