Lang Son Customs has new director

VCN – At Lang Son Customs Department, the General Department of Vietnam Customs held a ceremony to announce the appointment for a limited time of Nguyen Hoang Tuan, Deputy Director of Import-Export Duty Department (General Department of Vietnam Customs) as Director of Lang Son Customs Department from June 15.

Attendees of the ceremony included Deputy Director General of Vietnam Customs Nguyen Cong Binh, Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of Lang Son province Nguyen Cong Truong, representatives of units in the province and all customs officials of Lang Son Customs Department.

At the ceremony, Deputy Director of Personnel and Organisation Department (General Department of Vietnam Customs) Bui Ngoc Loi announced Decision No. 1566/QĐ-TCHQ dated May 30, 2019 of Director General of Vietnam Customs about appointing for a limited time of Nguyen Hoang Tuan, Deputy Director of Import-Export Duty Department (General Department of Vietnam Customs) as Director of Lang Son Customs Department

At the same time, the General Department of Vietnam Customs also announced the appointment decision of Hoang Khanh Hoa – Director of Lang Son Customs Department as Director of Cao Bang Customs Department from June 15.

Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of Lang Son province Nguyen Cong Truong and Deputy Director General of Vietnam Customs Nguyen Cong Binh said that while working at Lang Son Customs Department, Hoa had always shown his management capacity and professional knowledge. No matter what position he was in, he could accomplish his assigned tasks. With 32 years of working, he had made many contributions to the development of Lang Son as well as the Customs sector in general and Lang Son Customs Department in particular. Also he has been recognised and awarded many medals and certificates by the Party and the State.

For Tuan, although he was a young customs official, he has a lot of experience in import and export management and was entrusted with tasks by the General Department of Vietnam Customs and Lang Son province. This was an honour but also a very heavy responsibility.

Nguyen Cong Truong and Deputy General Director Nguyen Cong Binh said that in the new positions, they believed Hoang Khanh Hoa and Nguyen Hoang Tuan would continue to promote the tradition of Lang Son Customs, with solidarity and concentrating on democracy and coordinating well with relevant branches, agencies, forces from Central to local levels and customs officials of Lang Son and Cao Bang Customs in order to successfully complete all tasks entrusted by the Party, State and people, contributing to the development of Lang Son province.

Deputy General Director of Vietnam Customs Nguyen Cong Binh said expected that, Tuan and Hoa would continue to develop their experience and capabilities together with leaders of Lang Son Customs Departmentto become stronger, more united, and successfully complete all assigned tasks. He said they should focus on grasping the work, promoting internal democracy and taking advantage of the support of the provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee in order to complete the assigned tasks in the most effective way.

Tuan thanked the Provincial Party Committee and General Department of Vietnam Customs for trusting him and promised to try his best to continue promoting customs reform and modernization, strengthen inspection and control to improve management efficiency and contribute to preventing loss of revenue; continue to build professional, transparent and efficient customs force; promoting the solidarity tradition and the achievements to build the unit and the Customs sector to meet the task requirements.

He also expressed his wish to continue receiving directives from leaders; their support, help and share with all leaders and customs officials of Lang Son Customs Department to be able to fulfill the new responsibility and successfully complete his assigned tasks.

Tuan has worked in the Customs industry from 1995 up to now. Before being appointed Director of Lang Son Customs Department, from 2010 to June 2019, he was Deputy Director of Import-Export Duty Department - General Department of Vietnam Customs.
