According to the Lao Cai Customs Department, updated from the beginning of the year to September 14, the unit's revenue reached VND 1,150.4 billion, equaling 74.7% of the target assigned by the Ministry of Finance (VND 1,540 billion); equal to 63.9% of the target assigned by the People's Council and People's Committee of Lao Cai province (VND 1,800 billion).
Regarding import and export activities through the area, in the third quarter, import and export activities through the border gates in Lao Cai still faced many difficulties. However, Ha Khau district (China) continued to relax social distancing following the "Flexible Zero Covid-19" policy.
The import and export of goods through the international road gate No. II - Kim Thanh is still slow, while this is the largest trading area in Lao Cai.
In the third quarter (from June 16, 2022, to September 14, 2022), 389 enterprises were carrying out import and export procedures at the Lao Cai Customs Department, an increase of 119 enterprises (rising by 144%) compared to the previous quarter.
