Recently, the GDVC has notified the State Bank of Vietnam, partner banks, provincial and municipal customs departments, units, organizations and the business community on the pilot provision of payment intermediary services for tax collection and payment.
Accordingly, the intermediary payment service provider must be certified as an intermediary payment service provider by the State bank.
The partner banks must commit in writing to be responsible for revenue and payment in the State budget sent to the e-Customs payment portal via the intermediary payment service providers.
The partner banks that have implemented the 24/7 e-payment program will participate in the pilot provision of intermediary payment services.
In addition, the provider needs to install an information technology system to ensure the connection with the customs e-payment system.
The GDVC said that the payment intermediary service provider must send the application for participation in the program to the GDVC before October 19, and the file via email: nhungnth@customs.gov.vn, yendt4@customs.gov.vn.
The partner banks will notify the whole system and enterprisers that opened accounts at the bank about the pilot revenue collection and payment via payment intermediaries for exported and imported goods.
The launching of the method is one of the solutions implemented by the GDVC to reform administrative procedures, increase State revenue collection and payment services, contributing to reducing customs clearance time and expand the method of revenue collection for imports and exports.
