Post-clearance Audit Branch under Long An Customs Department said thatin 2019, revenue from the post-clearance audits decreased compared to 2018, because enterprises subject to post-clearance audit at the branch in 2019 have small and medium scale, an insignificant number of declarations and low import and export turnover, so most of them have been checked.
In addition, in general, enterprises involved in import and export activities in the area have complied with customs law. Through inspection, it was found some violating enterprises that are subject to tax imposition and administrative sanctions were mainly due to their lack of understanding of the customs law, leading to violations ofthe management of imported raw materials for export manufacturing and processing and misrepresenting code of the imported and exported goods.
