Nearly 52,000 businesses implement the National Single Window

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, as of February 15, 244 administrative procedures of 13 ministries and sectors were officially implemented on the National Single Window, with over 4.8 million dossiers of more than 51,800 participating enterprises.
Regarding the development of the Government's Decree on connecting and sharing information between Government agencies and related parties through NSW in the field of import, export and transit of goods, currently, the General Department of Vietnam Customs are consulting with members of the Editorial Board, units of the Ministry of Finance, units of the General Department of Vietnam Customs and local customs departments.
For the Master Plan on building and developing an information technology (IT) system for the implementation of the NSW, the ASEAN Single Window with the orientation of centralized handling, the Customs authority is conducting a survey to restore the IT System to implement NSW in the direction of centralized processing.
At the same time, developing a plan to hire a consultant to build the project, in order to build an overall architectural model, applying the technologies of the industrial revolution 4.0 and inherit the results of the systems that have been invested.
Along with that, the General Department of Vietnam Customs is completing the procedures to submit to the competent authority to issue a decision to establish a Working Group to develop a plan to deploy the National Single Window, promote the Logistics industry and trade facilitation in 2021-2025 period.
