New director of Gia Lai-Kon Tum Customs Department appointed

	Appointing head of division under Lang Son Customs Department to hold position as Deputy Director of Import – Export Duty Department
	Appointing Deputy Director of Quang Binh Customs Department

Deputy Director General Hoang Viet Cuongawardsthe decision to appoint Vu Le Quan as Director of Gia Lai-Kon Tum Customs Department.

On December 2, Director General of the General Department of Vietnam Customs Nguyen Van Can signed Decision No.3333/QD-TCHQ on definite rotation and the appointment of Vu Le Quan, Deputy Director of Customs Control and Supervision Department under the General Department of Vietnam Customs to hold the position as Director of Gia Lai - Kon Tum Customs Department since December 15, 2020.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director General Hoang Viet Cuong congratulated Vu Le Quan and Gia Lai - Kon Tum Customs Department. The Deputy Director General also assigned Quanto fulfill the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Vietnam Customs to Gia Lai-Kon Tum Customs Department, including the State revenue collection, customs reform and modernisation, combat smuggling and trade fraud, and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of customs officials, solving the matter of increasing workload but decreasing number of officials.

Deputy Director General also hoped that Quan would take advantage of the attention of local leaders and work closely with other departments and sectors in the area to develop Gia Lai-Kon Tum Customs Department.

At the ceremony, the new Director of Gia Lai-Kon Tum Customs Department expressed his determination to successfully complete the assigned tasks, and wished to receive the support of all customs officials of the department while performing his tasks.
