Nghe An Customs coordinates to arrest three people transporting “huge” amount of drugs

At 9:00PM on May 9, at Khe Nan bridge in Chieu Luu commune, the working group detained three people including Hoang Van Hai born in 1990; Trang A Vu born in 1992 and Thao A Su born in 1992, all residing in Nam Dam village, Cao Tan commune, Pac Nam district, Bac Kan province due to committing the act of illegal transportation of drugs.

At the scene, the working group seized 20 kg of meth, 20 bricks of heroin, 3,581 grams and 4 kg of ketamine and four mobile phones.

At the investigation agency, initially, the three subjects claimed they were hired to deliver drugs for a Lao man for a large salary. They also declared that to transport those drugs they took a car from Bac Kan to Nghe An. When arriving in Ky Son district, they rented a guesthouse in Muong Xen town to stay for one night. On the evening on May 9, they rented a taxi to go to Khe Nan bridge, which belongs to Khe Nam village, Chieu Luu commune, and then walked about 2 km into the forest to take the "goods" at one village of Na Ngoi commune.

Currently, the case is being investigated and expanded by police.
