Nguyen Van Lich appointed as new director of the Binh Phuoc Customs Department

On 13 December, Director of the General Department, Nguyen Van Can, signed Decision 3208/QD-TCHQ, on the fixed-term appointment for Nguyen Van Lich. Previously he was the Deputy Director of the Anti-Smuggling and Investigation Department. The decision took effect from December 15.
Director General Nguyen Van Can highly appreciated Lich's efforts and contributions during his time as deputy.
The Director General suggested that the new director would promote solidarity and innovation, together with the department’s leaders and officials, to perform customs controls in the area, facilitate trade, attract investment and ensure security and safety in import and export operations.
Director Nguyen Van Lich expressed his gratitude of the trust the leaders of the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Vietnam Customs put in him. He felt both an honor and a responsibility, and will that he will make great efforts to fulfill his assigned tasks.
“Facing the socio-economic development and investment attraction in Binh Phuoc province, the Department will unite, make efforts and innovate to both facilitate import and export activities and attract investment in the province, while ensuring customs control", Director Nguyen Van Lich said. He also expressed his desire to continue to receive guidance and support from leaders at all levels so that the department achieves results.
