Over 28,000 enterprises have implemented National Single Window

VCN – According to the latest news from General Department of Vietnam Customs there are 13 Ministries connected to National Single Window (NSW) with 173 administrative procedures having been deployed the total number of administrative dossiers processed is over 1.97 million from over 28,000 enterprises.

To further promote and achieve better results in the implementation of NSW and ASEAN Single Window, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue - Chairman of the Committee 1899 asked ministries and branches to complete the implementation of 61 new administrative procedures on the National Single Window during 2019 (including 18 procedures transferred from 2018 and 43 procedures from the 2019 Decision No. 1254/QD-TTg).

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, in order to deploy NSW and ASEAN Single Window to achieve the set objectives, the ministries and sectors should continue to review, amend and supplement regulation about administrative procedure in the field of specialized management for import and export goods, transit, people and means of transport on entry, exit and transit.

The amendments and supplementation need to follow the direction of cutting unnecessary procedures; simplify the process, procedures, dossiers and documents that need to be submitted or presented.

Ministries and sectors must also develop and publish national data about sample and e-voucher regarding administration and trade in order to apply for all administrative procedures implemented via NSW.

The ASW mechanism is currently connected between five member countries: Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore (from 1/1/2018) through the exchange of Certificate of Origin Form D by electronic version (e-C/O Form D). From the beginning of the year to the 19th March, Vietnam received 10,553 C/O from 4 member countries and sent 23,262 C/O to other member countries. Indonesia has the largest volume of C/O exchange with Vietnam. Since the beginning of the year, Vietnam has not received any C/O from Thailand while Vietnam has sent 9,773 C/O to Thailand.
