Passengers on entry and exit at Da Nang International Airport increase by nearly 45%

Compared to the same period in 2016, the number of airway customers increased by 44.81%. In particular, the number of visitors was nearly 580 thousand turns, and the number of exit visitors was nearly 600 thousand turns. The number of entry and exit aircraft reached 7.574 turns, an increase of 29.45% with more than 3.8 thousand entry turns and 374 exit turns.

With the new international terminal being put into operation in early May 2017, the Manager of the Customs Branch of Da Nang International Airport, Mr. Pham Duy Nhat said that the Customs procedures for the immigrant would be carried out quickly and conveniently, meeting the requirements of Customs management. It is expected that the number of passengers traveling through Da Nang International Airport will increase gradually.

Recently, in order to facilitate the development of investment and tourism in the city, on the basis of the internal management regulations of enterprises, the Da Nang Customs Department has issued a document guiding the Customs Branch of Da Nang International Airport to inspect and supervise the provision of services in restricted areas (activities of providing, promoting services in tourism, accommodation, transportation and supply of sim card phones).

The Customs Branch of Da Nang International Airport should ensure the inspection and supervision and avoid the use of goods and foreign cash from abroad into Vietnam.

The goods and foreign cash into the restricted area must have coupons (issued by enterprises) to manage and monitor.

Customs authorities do not confirm on the coupon each time the goods and foreign cash are brought out or into the restricted area. In the case where violations are detected during the inspection and supervision, the record shall be made as a basis for handling violations according to the provisions of the Law.
