Preparing to deploy VASSCM at Tan Son Nhat International Airport

From December 1, 2020, the pilot programme will be carried out at Tan Son Nhat International Airport. At TCS warehouse, Vietnam Airlines is chosen and at SCSC warehouse, Singapore Airlines is chosen as a the testing units to connect declaration information from imported and exported goods, information of the list of expected loading and unloading, information about getting in and getting out.

The General Department of Vietnam Customs requested the Customs authority, the Customs Information Technology and Statistics Department set up a Support Team and exchange information during the testing of the system to provide solutions when arising problems related to procedures, systems and technical software.

HCM City Customs Department is working with the Information Technology and Statistics Department to prepare the information technology infrastructure to connect the VASSCM system.

Instructing airlines to provide correct and complete information in accordance with Article 61 of Decree No. 08/2015/ND-CP (amended and supplemented in Decree 59/2018/ND-CP). In the case of flights carrying export or import goods of express delivery service enterprises, they must properly and fully declare transport information of each shipment to the national single window system. In case of failure to declare on the national single window system, the customs branch where the aircraft enters should make a written record of handling the violation.

On the side of the unit operating airport cargo warehouses, provide a focal point for information exchange and arrange a storage area for goods which do not have information on the expected list of loading and unloading outside the warehouse, attach specific signboards and attach surveillance cameras connected to the customs authority.
