Accordingly, Customs officers need to heighten the sense of responsibility and comply with regulations on Customs procedures, Customs management, inspection and supervision of goods into and out bonded warehouses. Assigning and arranging sufficiently Customs officers to supervise 24hours /7days for all operation of bonded warehouses.

Especially, Customs officers who are in charge of managing bonded warehouses need to closely supervise goods and means of transport into and out bonded warehouses as well as services in bonded warehouses to ensure in accordance with regulations.

The Quang Ninh Customs Department also requests Customs branches to strengthen Customs inspection, supervision for goods transported from bonded warehouse to exit border gate and point of delivery to ensure strict control of goods since it is taken out of the bonded warehouse until it is actually exported out of Vietnam’s territory; Closely collaborate with Customs Enforcement Teams to timely and sufficiently provide information on goods and means of transport.

At the same time, requesting bonded warehouse owners to properly arrange storage areas in bonded warehouses under each import declaration. It is not allowed to store goods of multiple declarations at the same place to avoid exchanging goods in the bonded warehouse.
