In the first month of 2021, the local revenue collection still depended on traditional goods such as imported petroleum, imported coal, exported coal and raw materials for animal feed production and raw materials for vegetable oil production.
Imported petroleum contributed VND 323.8 billion, increasing by 39% (up 90.3 billion) compared to December 2020.
In addition, revenue collected through the seaport area (excluding petroleum) reached VND 506.22 billion.
Export coal contributed VND 10.19 billion, reducing by 82% (down VND 46.1 billion) compared to December 2020 because Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited gut the amount of exported coal to ensure energy security in the country. Enterprises also have to negotiate prices for newly signed contracts and partners also need time to assess the stability of the world coal market in 2021.
In addition, imported coal contributed VND 179.4 billion, up 48% (raising VND 58.5 billion VND) compared to December 2020.
Besides that, raw materials for animal feed production contributed VND 129.16 billion, up 58% (up VND 47.65 billion) compared to December 2020, while raw materials for vegetable oil production contributed VND 12 billion (down 81%), down 49.59 billion VND compared to December 2020).
From the beginning of 2021, Quang Ninh Customs has organised to deploy revenue collection by following three scenarios, including revenue collection and payment from petroleum, imported coal, road, seaport and revenue collected from items and paid to the State budget by localities.
The scenario of State budget revenue in 2021 is planned in detail by this unit for each operation area associated with revenue sources collected from imported petroleum, revenues collected from the sea (excluding petroleum) and those collected from the road area.
Revenues collected from imported petroleum products; exported coal; imported coal; imported raw materials serving for animal feed production; imported raw materials serving for vegetable oil production; machinery, equipment, production materials to serve for investment projects and FDI enterprises.
Based on allocating according to the scenario and the State revenue management plan in 2021, Quang Ninh Customs Department has issued a decision to assign targets to each affiliate customs branch.
