Quang Ninh Customs continues implementing nine procedures on National Single Window System

Implementing directives of the General Department of Vietnam Customs in Document No.2404/TCHQ-CNTT dated April 15, 2020 and Document No.2405/TCHQ-CNTT dated April 15, 2020 on implementing nine administrative procedures of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development that were officially implemented from April 18, 2020 to April 25, 2020, Quang Ninh Customs has guided Customs Branches to immediately decentralise the use of the searching results function of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to nine administrative procedures of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for customs officials on the E-Customs system.

The unit also requested officials of the customs branches access the E-Customs System to search and exploit processing results of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for these procedures and to not require enterprises to submit paper copies of documents issued through the NSW.

If there was an incident or the electronic system had an error or didn’t run smoothly, it will be performed on paper and vouchers granted by the Department of Animal Health.

According to the plan, from April 18, Quang Ninh Customs implemented five procedures including granting veterinary certificates for terrestrial animals and animal products for export, registration for quarantine of imported terrestrial animals and animal products originating from animals, registration for certification of quality of animal feed and aquafeeds, issuing veterinary certificates for imported terrestrial animals and animal products and inspections to verify quality of animal feed and aquafeed originating from animals.

On April 20, two procedures were implemented: State inspection of the quality of imported veterinary drugs and licenses for import of veterinary drugs and materials for making veterinary medicines.

On 25 April, two procedures were implemented: Registration for animal quarantine of terrestrial animals and animal products temporarily imported and re-export, temporarily export and re-import, border-gate transfer, deposited in bonded warehouses and transit through the territory of Vietnam; and granting veterinary certificates of terrestrial animals and animal products temporarily imported and re-export, temporarily export and re-import, border-gate transfer and transit through Vietnamese territory.
