Recognising ICD Ha Nam New Port as inland place of customs procedure

VCN – The Ministry of Finance issued a decision of recognising a place of customs procedure at Inland Container Depot Ha Nam New Port (ICD Ha Nam).

Accordingly, recognising ICD Ha Nam as inland place of customs procedure at import-export cargo which was established in the area of Newport Joint Stock Company – Dong Van Ha Nam at Dong Van III Industrial Zone (Dong Van town, Duy Tien District, Ha Nam province).

The location code is 28NJI01 and location name is Tan Cang – Dong Van Ha Nam Joint Stock Company (shortened name is ICD TANCANG DONG VAN) managed by Ha Nam Customs Branch under Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department.

It is known that in order to be recognized as inland place of customs procedures, before that, Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department checked and compared with the actual location at the ICD Ha Nam. Accordingly, the total area of the site for customs clearance is 93,678m2.

Of that, including the gathering point of import and export goods, customs inspection area, gathering point of vehicle waiting for cargo inspection, areas for storing temporarily exhibits and other auxiliary areas.

Currently, it already completed construction and put into operation with an area of 60m2 for the office, including 30m2 for customs authorities. The office for the customs officials has been equipped with a screen to display images of surveillance cameras and networked computers.

The inspection site was surrounded by a system of solid walls, gauze fabric fence to ensure separation from the surrounding area to ensure working conditions for the customs authorities, cargo inspection area and place of installing inspection equipment in accordance with regulations.
