According to the NSW implementation plan issued by the MOIT, in 2018, the Ministry will deploy more new 6 procedures through the NSW: granting import/export license for industrial explosive pre-substances; granting import/export license for industrial pre-substances; procedures on chemical import declaration; procedures on non-commercial tobacco imports; procedures on requesting for granting written agreement on joining the pilot project for self-certification of origin in ASEAN; and procedures for informing the criteria on tobacco material and rolling paper imports.

Besides, in this year and 2018, the MOIT will expand the implementation of NSW for 5 procedures in deployment: granting import license for ozone-layer depleting substances; granting automatic import license for powerful motorcycles; granting preferential certificate of origin; granting import/export license for industrial explosive materials and granting certificate of Kimberly process.

In order to above tasks, the MOIT set 3 solutions: completing legal basis, building and deploying information and technology system; training, propagating and supporting civil servants and business community.

According to the latest information from the General Department of Customs – Standing Agency of National Steering Committee on NSW and ASEAN Single Window and trade facilitation, now 11 ministries and sectors connected with, 38 administrative procedures have been updated to; and 358,000 sets of dossiers have been handled on and about 11,400 enterprises join the NSW.
