Customs officers at Cam Ranh International Airport are screening luggage for passengers.

The passengers’ nationalities are mainly Russian, South Korean, Thai and especially Chinese. Every day, there are from 7 to 10 flights carrying thousands of Chinese tourists to visit Cam Ranh with the largest number from 10 pm to 6 am in the next morning.

In the first 6 months, the number of entry passengers at Cam Ranh International Airport has spiked. Civil servants and customs officers at Customs Branch of Cam Ranh International Airport, Khanh Hoa Customs Department are always available 24 hours per day and settle procedures for 5,397 flights with 1,062,373 immigrants. It is said that thanks to the efforts of civil servants and customs officers at Cam Ranh International Airport, the flow of a large immigration is ensured smoothly.

Customs Branch of Cam Ranh International Airport was established nearly a year ago with 25 officers and civil servants. Currently, all of the officers have to do night shifts. Meanwhile, Customs Branch of Cam Ranh International Airport has no their own office, therefore it is difficult to arrange accommodations for the officers and civil servants after every shift. However, despite difficulties, Customs Branch of Cam Ranh International Airport regularly encourages all officers and employees to strengthen the disciplinary services, building the image of professional and friendly customs officers.
