The Customs Branch of Goods Verification No.5 is located in Hoa Binh Boulevard, Hong Phong, Ninh Duong, Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh province.

The Customs Branch of Goods Verification No.5 is established under the Government’s Decision 65/2015/QD-TTg dated December 17, 2015, and the Minister of Finance’s Decision 1388/QD-BTC dated June 20, 2016. The Customs Branch of Goods Verification No.5 has function of consulting Director General of Vietnam Customs in managing and inspecting standard, quality and verifying food hygiene and safety standards for imported and exported goods in accordance with provisions of the law; verifying, analyzing and assessing to support classification of imported and exported goods as assigned by the Director General of Vietnam Customs.

This is the sixth Customs Branch of Goods Verification in the country which has been officially put into operation. The Customs Branch of Goods Verification N.o 5 will directly carry out the tasks of verification, specialized inspection for imported and exported goods in Quang Ninh province. Its establishment and operation have marked the new development of Customs sector in general as well as created favorable conditions for export and import activities in Quang Ninh.

At the ceremony, the leader of General Department of Vietnam Customs awarded the appointment decision of Vietnam Customs to Mr.Nguyen Van Binh to hold the position of the manager of Customs Branch of Goods Verification No.5. At the same time, requesting the Branch to firmly grasp its functions, tasks, and powers to operate effectively; Focus on improving operational ability; closely collaborate with relevant units to solve difficulties, obstacles, and complaints. In addition, it needs to build relationships with other verification agencies to provide accurate results, have a close relationship, and support enterprises and consider enterprises as partners and have a responsibility to meet service requirement.
