The Customs sector sets out goals to complete the Smart Customs in 2030 in the Customs Digital Transformation Plan to 2025, with orientation to 2030.
In addition, the Customs sector strives to complete key roles such as 100% of documents in customs dossiers will be converted into e-data, towards digital format.
100% of major international ports and border gates apply the automated system for customs management and equip cargo and luggage screening system, a camera system and other supportive tools in customs supervision and control.
The results, images and information are transmitted directly to the Customs centralized processing center and shared with relevant ministries, government agencies and units at the border gate.
100% of high-risk cargo transported by containers are supervised by advanced devices, and the data is connected to the Customs centralized processing center.
100% of land border gates apply the system receiving and processing pre-declared information about import and export goods before goods are transported across the border.
100% of authorized economic operators voluntarily comply with the law.
Export processing enterprises, export processing and production enterprises will connect the production management data with Customs authorities.
The customs sector strives to improve the efficiency of tax debt management, aiming for 100% of tax debtors automatically monitored and updated on the e-Customs system.
100% of customs control records are digitized.
The sector also achieves 95% or more of key targets on the level of satisfaction of enterprises with the performance of customs procedures.
