Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Pham Hong Thanh, Director of Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department, said that as of 15/3, the unit has welcomed 762 enterprises to come to do customs procedures; completed procedure for 42,442 sets of declarations, export turnover reached over $US 2 billion. With those efforts, from the beginning of the year, the whole department has collected to state revenue over 826 billion VND, reaching 19.67% compared with the assigned target (4,200 billion VND).

The conference aims to provide, update and guide a number of new regulations to be implemented in the future related to production and trading of enterprises," Pham Hong Thanh emphasized.

At the conference, the Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department also introduced the basic contents related to the operation of processing enterprises, export production, export processing and management of customs agencies stipulated in the draft amendment, Decree 08/2015 / ND-CP and Circular 38/2015 / TT-BTC. At the same time, the unit also introduced to the business community the main contents of the Government's Decree No. 125/2017 / ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 122/2016 / ND-CP, September 1, 2016 of the Government on the export tariff, preferential import tariffs, list of goods and absolute tax rates, mixed tariff, import tax outside tariff quotas ...

Also at the conference, representative of Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department directly solved problems of enterprises related to a number of issues such as the cost of transportation to the first import border in the sea offices; import tax exemption; origin of goods; VAT; tax refund

At the meeting, Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department signed a memorandum of cooperation on customs cooperation with 17 typical enterprises operating in Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh provinces in order to create more favorable conditions; Business activities, improve legal compliance of enterprises, and ensure the state management of customs in the area.

Especially, the Chairman of Provincial People's Committee of Ninh Binh awarded certificates to 11 enterprises that have contributed to the socio-economic development of Ninh Binh province.
