Five commodity groups help to increase revenue by more than VND 4,600 billion

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, in the first two months, the whole Customs sector collected VND 54,760 billion, equivalent to 17.38% of the estimate and up by 7.53% over the same period last year.
The five commodity groups contributing greatly to the result of revenue collection of the whole customs sector were automobiles; phones and components; computers, electronic products and components; machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts; as well as regular metal.
In particular, CBU cars of all kinds achieved a turnover of $424 million, increasing by 26.5%, with the amount of payable tax VND 5,476 billion, increasing by VND 1,231 billion.
Phone of all kinds and spare parts reached turnover of $579 million, increasing by 212.4%, the amount of payable tax is VND 1,656 billion, up by VND 933 billion.
Computers, electronic products and components reached turnover of $907 million, an increase of 70.4%, the amount of payable tax is VND 2,318 billion, up VND 864 billion.
Machinery, equipment, tools and spare parts reached turnover of $2.87 billion, an increase of 12%, the amount of payable tax reached VND 7,594 billion, up VND 815 billion.
Other common metals reached turnover of $757 million, increasing by 57.6%, the amount of payable tax is VND 1,858 billion, increasing by VND 692 billion from the same period last year.
Thus, the five main commodity groups helped to increase revenue by more than VND 4,600 billion.
