In case enterprises are required to visit the customs office to present the original documents as prescribed, the branch has arranged an independent area to ensure the requirements of pandemic prevention and control to minimize face-to-face contact between customs officers and businesses.

Thanks to active solutions amid the pandemic, Mong Cai border gate Customs Branch has effectively controlled the pandemic and ensured clearance of goods.

The branch has also closely followed the direction of the General Department of Customs and the Provincial Customs Department in implementing a series of solutions to remove difficulties for businesses, ensuring the source of raw materials for production and business, and not disrupt the supply chain.

Accordingly, the branch has guided customs declarants to declare and submit customs dossiers through the customs electronic data processing system and online public service system. Customs officers checked and handled customs documents on these systems.
