Quang Ninh Customs: cutting down 13 regular staff when deploying centralized customs management

According to the Director, the model for implementing customs procedures and customs management at the Mong Cai Customs Branch are deployed by the Quang Ninh Customs Department with two important contents: Reform of organization, organizational structure and administrative procedures reform for import and export goods in Mong Cai city.

On the basis of task arrangement in the direction of diligence will help to improve the capacity of customs officials on the basis of existing human resources and using financial resources economically as well as State properties. Quang Ninh Customs Department has merged three teams of import-export cargo customs procedures units, including import-export cargo customs procedures units I-Ka Long, import-export cargo customs procedures units - Bac Luan and ICD Thanh Dat at Mong Cai Customs Branch into import-export cargo customs procedures units which are located at the head office of Mong Cai Customs Branch. In addition, the task of inspection and supervision goods which belong to 3 import-export cargo customs procedures units, will be arranged into 2 units of inspect and supervise goods.

Mr. Bui Van Khang said that although in the future at the Mong Cai Customs Branch would have more new jobs, with the initiative of rearranging the management model and reorganizing the organizational structure of unit as mentioned above will help to overcome the current shortage of staffing.

The arrangement and restructuring of the organization of the Branch is not counting the increase of staff due to the establishment of new customs clearance sites (Bac Luan 2 Bridge, Km3 + 4 open road, Po Hen open road and gathering point, except the inspecting and supervising imported and exported goods at Km3 + 4 is estimated to increase with 19 more staff), the restructure of organizational structure will cut down 13 regular staff.
