VCN - In cross-border flow of import- export goods, specialised inspection is a tool to control goods quality, ensure security and safety. But overlapping and unreasonable inspection is a hindrance to that flow. Stories about inadequacies and overlaps in private equity activities have been heard for a long time. The task of removing this problem has been directed by the Government for many years but has not removed all shortcomings. Therefore, the Government’s assignment for the Ministry of Finance to build the project on specialised inspection reform towards the Customs agency as the focal point for specialised inspection at the border gate, while the ministries and branches in charge of "post-clearance audit " is considered a breakthrough for far-reaching reforms of quality inspection, food safety inspection and the enhancement of national competitiveness.
